Hotel Features
Our newly renovated hotel is only a 3-minute drive from Universal Orlando Resort, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi and food available 24 hours a day. An outdoor swimming pool is also available. Complimentary shuttle service to Universal Orlando Resort is available at select times as well. A small refrigerator and coffee maker come standard in each room at Hyatt Place Orlando Universal. Rooms also include a flat-screen TV and an alarm clock radio. A business center and fitness center are available on-site. Disney theme parks are just a 13-minute drive from this hotel. Guests will have an 8-minute drive from shopping at Orlando's Premium Outlets. Light housekeeping service is every other day then after the 4th night the guest will receive full service.

Great stay for a Universal...
- What did you like most?Great location. 5 min drive or 20 min walk to Universal City Place. Very clean and roomy.
- Was there anything you didn't like?$25 parking fee for an open un-gated parking lot.
Great value for non-Universal hotel...
- What did you like most?I booked this hotel because it was close to Universal at a reasonable price. We stayed for five nights. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was small but nice and the staff and other guests were great. We usually stay at the Universal hotels so we can walk back and forth to the park. This hotel was about a 5-minute longer walk than Portofino but it was much quieter and calmer than the Universal hotels (and definitely less expensive this visit). The hotel is also a Universal partner so we were able to pick up our park tickets in the lobby and take a shuttle directly to the parks (including Epic) if we didn’t feel like walking.
- Was there anything you didn't like?There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Maybe the only thing would have been that the shuttle bus times were very limited.
