Worst holiday inn ever
- What did you like most?The location of the property to sight seeing points like Statue of Liberty, changing bull, subway access is good. The front desk staff were lovely.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The property is very cramped. Firstly you can easily take the luggage car in the corridor as it’s a very tight space between rooms and elevators. The rooms are so small (despite me taking a room with a king bed, tha you get off from the bed directly into the bathroom. On the other side there is hardly any space for a person to walk in an out of bed. It had snowed in the weeks prior to my stay on 4th Feb, still the hotel did not make any efforts to clear the snow which made it difficult to haul luggage into the lobby. Bottles water was to be asked for rather than being a proactive service to replenish. I was in room 503. The aircon threw outside cold air from the bottom and warm air from the top, nullifying the effect. The breakfast other than pancakes was an absolute disaster. Day 1 I had to wait for scrambled eggs for more than 15 mins. The breakfast room is so small for a hotel with 26 floors that people have to wait for a seat or have their breakfast in the lobby.
